  • When living through one of life's most difficult times it was truly appreciated that the people who were walking through this with us were very compassionate and showed tremendous kindness. Faced with the last thing we will ever do for our loved ones, and feeling tremendous loss and grief, the staff at Pacific Crest was very sensitive and caring.

Our first experience with purchasing a gravesite was after the shock of my beloved brother's suicide. Nothing prepares a family for such a terrible event, and we were given the time we needed without any pressure to make decisions, to discuss together what we wanted to do. All the hopes and dreams for this son and brother were torn away abruptly when he died, and this loss, especially under these circumstances, was felt very deeply. At that time our parents decided to purchase their own sites next to his, so they could be near him when the time came. After both of our parents passed away, I decided to arrange for my own cremation and interment at Pacific Crest, knowing that my children will not have to make difficult choices or be faced with end of life expenses. But most importantly I know that they will receive the kindness, compassion and support they will undoubtedly need from the staff at Pacific Crest.

From the beginning of this process...with the affiliated morturary service providers, to the final internment, the services provided were sensitive, professional and personal. The staff took care of details that a grieving family cannot always think about and for which our family is forever grateful.
Thank you David Rice and the staff at Pacific Crest Cemetery.

  • South Bay mix. Family and friends. Ocean breeze. Last Fathers' Day families were set up for the day. Nice. Friendly staff. Mae Marsh, silent film star and long time South Bay resident, is buried here.
